  • Project: ISO 20000 / ITSM Processes
  • Category: ITSM

About

The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) is continuously working to enhance the investor journey in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

This is achieved by unifying investment procedures and automating processes to reduce turnaround times and documentation for industrial licenses.

These efforts aim to create a flexible and attractive investment environment within its industrial cities (Jubail and Yanbu Industrial Cities, Ras Al-Khair for Mining Industries, and Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries).

Scope Of Work

This project encompassed a full analysis and assessment of our existing ITSM system, meticulously evaluated against the ITIL maturity model, COBIT 5, and ISO 20000 standard requirements.

The insights gained from this comprehensive assessment directly informed the subsequent phase, where we successfully defined and implemented robust ITSM processes in full compliance with the ISO 20000-2011 standard.

This initiative significantly enhances our IT service management capabilities, ensuring adherence to international best practices and a higher level of operational maturity.

Achievements & Deliverables

Our strategic efforts have culminated in two significant achievements: the successful attainment of ISO 20000-2011 Certification, validating our adherence to international IT service management standards.
Concurrently, we have efficiently outsourced nine ITSM Consultants, bolstering our team's expertise and capacity to further enhance service delivery and operational excellence.
