Under Civil Defense’s Regulations, issued by Royal Decree No. M/10 on 10.5.1406 H, (20.1.1986) definition, the Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia is a set of measures and actions necessary to protect the population and public and private property from fire hazards, disasters, wars and accidents.

It relieves victims, insures safety of transport and communications, operates public utilities and protects sources of national wealth in peacetimes, wartimes and emergencies.

Scope Of Work

The Civil Defense’s General Directorate of Information Technology’s (GDIT) unwavering commitment to the Digital Government Authority’s (DGA) measurement program standards. This strategic alignment is pivotal for achieving higher levels of digital maturity, guided by global indicators and Saudi Vision 2030.

Recognizing the rapid evolution of business requirements and technological advancements, the GDIT is actively executing this project to ensure optimal responsiveness, seamless integration between business and technology, elevated digital project development, and continuous enhancement of service quality for beneficiaries.

Achievements & Deliverables

Our recent achievements in digital transformation measurement include a comprehensive review of Measurement QIYAS 10, along with the supporting evidence previously submitted. We've successfully identified all necessary evidence for the 2023 measurement cycle, pinpointing the relevant stakeholders for each requirement.
Furthermore, we've conducted a thorough review of the Digital Government Authority's (DGA) initial assessment, using its findings to define key development requirements moving forward. These deliverables are critical to enhancing our digital maturity and aligning with national strategic objectives.
